March 2019

The month I finally went online again!

And I even finished some books. It’s only 2 but better than nothing, right?

The Subtle Knife / Philip Pullmann –> finished! I cried my eyes out. This one scene got me. The last sentence of this chapter. I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you read this book you probably know what I’m talking about.

I am Malala / Malala Yousafzai –> finished! Not normally what I’d go for, but one of our customers recommended & lend it to me. It was really interesting & shocking. I never seem to have trouble reading biographies. The ones I picked so far (Ozzy, Bear Grylls, Chris Jericho, Bret Hart…) were all great to read. Maybe I should pick some up more often.

The Wolf in the Whale / Jordanna Max Brodsky –> 64%. Not sure anymore. Some things annoy me, but I’ll see it through. I’m already too far in & curious how it ends.

When the Heavens Fall / Marc Turner –> 11%. This is really cool! I’m hooked so far. It’s a neat, action-packed High Fantasy series with mages, earth monsters and sword-fighters.

I read a couple of samples and have more books lined up for April. Let’s hope I get to them!

A Re-Read, a first part and the conclusion of a trilogy. Sounds good?

I also want to continue with Murakami’s 1Q84, but I doubt I’ll get to it this month. If I could read all of those books it’ll be awesome!

I might even join a Readathon.

It’s getting colder here, we’re almost in the middle of autumn and I absolutely LOVE our wood heater. Best thing about this house!

Walter is growing up so fast!

..and I watched Wrestling in an empty arena..

Let’s have a great April!
