December Post #2

It’s time for my second December post, woohoo!

I will probably keep it going like that during this month. But will be back in full force in the new year πŸ˜‰ then everything should be sorted as well. We are kinda approved for he loan, but with conditions. We will get those on Monday but from what we were told so far, it’s easy to fulfill them. I still stay cautious until it’s all signed and probably until I have the keys haha. But it’s looking a lot better!

I apologize for being so inactive during the week and hardly posting. I’m reading again but don’t find the time for my blog. I will keep Sunday as my blog-day this month πŸ˜€

I had a crazy week at work. We had to prepare for our big Christmas Dinner and started at 6 every morning on most days. Until well after 6 in the evening. I can’t see any more Christmas cookies. I used to enjoy baking them, but doing them commercially is a whole different thing.

Melbourne weather was at it again this week. From 38 degrees one day to 22 and rain the next. And we got a LOT of rain. Farm work was a bit wet. But I take that over the heat for sure!

I finished the first book of 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami and WOAH! I LOVE how everything just comes together and how the two storylines are connected. I did not see it coming! And all the talk about the little people? They are actually pretty scary! I am not sure when I will continue with book 2 – I have a couple other books I want to read before, but it’s probably sooner than later.

I started Eric by Terry Pratchett as well. It’s one of the shorter books and I hardly remember it because I read it 14-15 years ago I think. It has Rincewind though, so that’s always nice. I am feeling a lot like Discworld right now so I thought I just go with it and continue my ReRead.

I also want to try The Golden Compass by Philip Pullman. I dnf it ages ago but have been thinking about giving it a second chance this past year. My sister-in-lay lent me her collection of all 3 books so I will jump into it after I’m done with my Pratchett.

It also looks like 2019 will be a great year for pro wrestling. We already got tickets for a show in the start of January. And tickets for March will be on sale next week. We don’t want to miss this show as some of our favourites are coming. Australia finally gets some attention πŸ˜‰

I better get back to packing boxes now, have a lovely Sunday! ❀

  1. Thanks for the warning about Hairy Man Alert posts. I shall be vigilant in avoiding them as best I can πŸ˜€

Still praying that everything works out for your house. Cause it ain’t Over til the Fat Lady has signed on the dotted line (forget singing, she gave that up years ago!)

12hr days sound like killers. I’d probably go nuts real quick. Hope January is a bit more settled. Ha!

    1. Haha, I probably won’t post anything on the blog. I use twitter for ‘hairy men posts’ now πŸ˜€ I can go all out there! So you should be safe! (I might sneak one in when you least expect it… )

Thanks! January will definitely be a bit quieter, I’m looking forward to it.

      1. Oh, but Tanahashi just had new hair colour and I think even hair extensions. I saw him yesterday, he looked great! …. πŸ˜‰ Then, a lot of Japanese wrestlers went to the hairdresser recently I think. Their biggest event is coming up in 2 weeks. Gotta look smart πŸ˜€

  2. Yeay fingers crossed the conditions will be a breeze~
I’m curious what you’ll think of the whole trilogy of you get that far. I thought the first one was okay, the second bad, and the third even worse haha. But I seem to be the odd one out there πŸ˜›

    1. It’s melbourne city wrestling in january and world series of wrestling in march 😁

Hoping for another NJPW tour in 2019 as well! They came to Australia in the start of this year and we saw them. You are absolutely right! Both Mr. DZ and myself were impressed 😍

I’ve seen almost everyone of my faves live at least once. Only Ibushi is missing! I don’t think he ever came to wrestle here.. so maybe I gotta travel to Japan sooner than later – he won’t be around forever

      1. Cool! Local is also good too.😁

Good luck on seeing Ibushi! I haven’t seen him yet either. I think the big one I need to see is Kenny Omega.
