I saw this Tag on Kaleena’s Blog, Reader Voracious. It was created by Bethany from Bibliophile’s Binge and I liked it, so I stole it ๐
Name: Sarah
Age: 30
Education: Ahaha… I got a Bachelor in English & Religious Education that does absolutely nothing for me. I went to uni to become a teacher but halfway through I had to admit to myself that it wasn’t my thing. I still finished the first part & got my Bachelor Degree. But that was it. I started working in a hotel during my time as a student and that was something I really enjoyed.
Location: Victoria, Australia. 45 minutes from Melbourne.
Job: Barista/Kitchen Hand/Waitress in our Catering Business.
These are a few of your favorite things (apart from anything related to books & reading): Cheese platters, winery tours, airports, lonely beaches, spa baths, rainbows, cozy pajamas, fireplaces, cuddling, getting fresh eggs from my lovely chooks every day, coffee & cake dates with my besties, watching wrestling, arcades, air hockey, trying new food, cozy little cafes and so on.. This deserves its own post!
Is there a story behind your blogโs name? I was just brainstorming things I love to read about and put those 2 together.. Although I haven’t felt like a Zombie book in a while, whoops!
What are you looking forward to right now? Dinner at my mother-in-law’s place
Favorite Ice Cream: Hazelnut
Coffee or Tea? And how do you take it? I love both, but making coffee is not only my job but also my hobby. I love me a nice double-shot cappuccino or a yummy Iced Coffee. Or a hazelnut latte if I’m feeling very fancy. I drink a lot of tea as well though. I like black tea varieties.
Favorite Thing To Do On a Rainy Day: Snuggle up & read. In front of the fireplace, if you have one.
Favorite Movies: Labyrinth, Stardust, Eastern Promises, Zombieland, the Princess Bride, From Dusk til Dawn, Death at a Funeral, Hot Fuzz, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Ring, Robin Hood:Prince of Thieves, The Shawshank Redemption…. and so many more.
Favorite Books: Too many.
One Item on Your Bucket List:ย Travel to Japan and watch Wrestle Kingdom live ๐
Scariest Thing Youโve Ever Done: Give up my life in Germany and move overseas to Australia with just one suitcase. Best thing I’ve done in my life.
Fun Fact or Two: When I sneeze, I sneeze 3 times in a row. Every time^^
Absolutely LOVE Stardust! Completely disappointed by the book, but the movie is a favorite.

I’ve never read the book and I don’t plan to ๐ Seems like a good choice haha
Even though I normally enjoy Gaiman’s books. I never felt like I need to read ‘Stardust’ after the movie was so perfect

Yes, that was definitely a good choice. I like Gaiman oftentimes too, but the movie version of Stardust was so much better that I wish I hadn’t bothered with the book. ๐

Only one suitcase eh? Was that a choice or out of necessity?
It also sounds like some sort of mystery novel. “The Woman with One Suitcase” definitely would work as an Agatha Christie title ๐

Haha hell yeah!
Definitely not by choice. I had to leave so much behind. My book collection for example. It was too expensive for me at that point to send it all over.
So I just sold everything that was worth something and gave things away for charity. Like almost all of my furniture^^

Oh, that is right, the shipping charges. Ouch. At least you got to start over with an almost completely clean slate then, right?
And does this mean you are tri-lingual? German, English and Australian? ๐

That’s true – it wasn’t ALL bad.. and made me realize that I actually don’t need a lot of stuff ๐
Hahaha, I sure am, mate ๐

You moved to Australia with just 1 suitcase?! ๐ฎ That’s some really good packing.
Oh gosh! i can’t remember the last time I watched an Indiana Jones film. I loved them as a kid.

Wow. And, wow! This was a great post! ๐ I am a little in awe of you right now (I am an awful traveller, a complete home-body โฆ your moving from one country to a completely other country is so beyond my abilities!)

I also got my Bachelor’s Degree in English (minus the education part) and haven’t really done anything that requires it yet, either. Oh well!

You also have a BA in Religion?!?!?! OMG! Did you have a particular focus? I wound up ‘specializing’ in theory of religion and Hinduism.
