I am not really finding a good balance between work & my free time at the moment. For some reason, I can’t find time to sit down and just blog or read. For most of April, I was in a reading & blogging slump and I am not fully out of it yet. The weather adds to it as well – it’s the last month of autumn here and you notice it’s getting much colder in the mornings. I’m a summer child, so it’s a bit depressing right now. I’ll get used to it slowly 😉
What I read
Not really worth it.. I only finished one book 😦
The Crimson Campaign / Brian McClellan –> finished! My review.
The Autumn Republic / Brian McClellan –> 36%. Oh wow, it’s getting better & better and all of those reunions are making me feel VERY happy!
Empire Ascendant / Kameron Hurley –> 24%. I was thinking about the first book of the Worldbreaker Saga and really wanted to start the second part, so I did. It’s really weird reading it. I remember maybe 60% and sometimes names don’t ring a bell, but I somehow still enjoy it. It’s helping me get out of my reading slump as well.
In case you haven’t noticed, I added star ratings to my previous reviews and you can also find the stars on the right under tags. That way you can easily go back and have a look at my 1 Star-reviews 😀 (for example^^)
What I am watching
Too much Japanese wrestling. I am enjoying it a whole lot at the moment and apart from the current product, I’ve been going back to watch some old matches etc. I am more hype for the NJPW events tonight and tomorrow evening than for the WWE events, which is surprising.
But WWE is getting stale and their booking is starting to piss me off. I also feel sad, that they have SO much talent they are not using properly. Some of those guys should have stayed on the indies..
I won’t plan anything for May, I just want to be a more active blogger again and read more awesome books 😉
