Another topic today. Here you have some of Stephen King’s novels I haven’t read yet but plan to:

The Long Walk / Insomnia / The Eyes of the Dragon / Christine

Salem’s Lot / Dreamcatcher / Cujo / Under the Dome

Bag of Bones / Duma Key

  1. Never read any of Stephen’s books (I’d make an educated guess they’d be a little too creepy for me), but it looks like you’ll enjoy lots of good reading ahead. Hope these wind up under your Christmas tree – or on your shelf before then. πŸ˜‰

  2. I’ve read almost all of these (not Insomnia, Dreamcatcher, or Duma Key). I end up taking a Stephen King book with me whenever I travel, and on my last trips read The Long Walk and Bag of Bones. Such great books! Enjoy.

  3. Dreamcatcher was my first King and I ended up dnf-ing. It didn’t really work for me. And as it was a buddy read I couldn’t really power through it either. I do have Under the Dome and a collection of some short stories still. Oh and the first Dark Tower book. I want to give him a shot. Since he writes so much there has to be something I am bound to like, right?

  4. The long walk was absolutely brilliant. One of my all time faves by King. Salems Lot and The Eye of the Dragon were both not mine, but I did finished them. I owned Under the Dome, but I gave it away, because I wasn’t interested anymore.

  5. I’ve got a lot of these on my Stephen King TBR as well especially Cujo and Christine since I love that classic horror! I read through a majority of Salem’s Lot and just never finished for some reason but that one was pretty good! Hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them, great list! πŸ™‚

  6. I’m on a mission to read all of King’s books, but Dreamcatcher and Duma Key are somewhere at the top of my list. πŸ™‚ Last month I read The Green Mile, Gerald’s Game, and Bag of Bones, which was my favorite so far.

  7. ‘Salem’s Lot is really good so I’ll vouch for you getting that one first. I’m trying to read his novels in order and just read the Shining in September. It was great. I forgot what book is next though.
