I try to read one King book a year. I’ve avoided Misery so far and I hope to for quite some time. I’ve seen visuals from the movie and it just makes me squirm inside…

Yeah its definitely one that freaks you out.. i am less freaked out by his supernatural stories. Mysery is just too real. Still great book though 🙂

It’s years since I read Misery but it was a good book. I loved the film. Harry Potter is always good for putting on TTT lists! It’s been a few years since I did rereads of Harry and I miss him!

Ooh Assassin’s Fate. I should treat myself to that whole trilogy lol, I think they’re all out now? And the Wrede dragon books are supposed to be pretty fun I guess!

I’m a big fan of Stephen King’s works and have read every book he’s published in the past years, but I still need to catch up on his early novels. That’s why I haven’t read “Misery” yet but now that I see it on your list I definitely want to do it soon!

Oh wow, that’s some good effort! I definitely try to tead all of his works as well – i just pick up everything randomly though 😀 i read a couple of his early books but then also the ones he published in the last years.
What are your favourites so far? I think i have to go with the stand, the shining and the dark tower series

I started “reading” Stephen King’s books when German Audible started to turn all his novels into audiobooks. They always book the same narrator which is my absolute favorite which made it quite easy to catch up on his books 😀
I think my favorites are “The Shining”, “11/22/63”, “The Green Mile” and the Bill Hodges trilogy! I listened to “The Stand” last year and have to admit that I found it pretty boring, the same goes for the first book in the Dark Tower series. BUT I’m planning on giving it another try since I’m really excited for the upcoming Dark Tower movie and I’ve heard lots of people say that the series gets much better after the first book! 🙂

I keep hearing good things about Misery! I’m way behind on King’s books, haha. How’d you stumble upon Dealing With Dragons? I loved that series when I was a kid! I also reread via audiobook a couple years ago. Still great. 🙂

I need to psyche myself up to start reading Robin Hobb’s books, I have loads on my Kindle but the series are a bit daunting.

Great list! I’m currently reading Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb and it’s so good! I liked the Farseer trilogy but Ship of Magic is really something! Magic Bitter, Magic Sweet looks amazing as well! I’ll have to check it out!

I feel like this is the year of re-reading Stephen King – starting with Misery! I haven’t done it yet though – but I did read Gwendy’s Box, which was awesome.
