I start reading a little late today. This morning I went Christmas Shopping and found a few things for my parents & brother in Germany. I love going shopping around Christmas time. I can spend hours looking at decorations and food etc. 😀 I even got myself some treats.. A new bag. Also, a new planner for next year..and a movie. Merry Christmas to me!
I don’t have much more planned for today. The weather is really nice and warm, so I will probably just sit in the garden and read. I only read 10% of Calamity by Brandon Sanderson so far and am currently at 58%. Maybe I’ll even finish it today. It has been a bit slow and the team spent the whole first half making plans to take down the main Epic. I am not saying who it is, as I don’t want to spoil anything. David and his friends are in a moving city, that was once Atlanta and is now called Ildithia. It’s made up of salt buildings that crash down every week and have to be rebuilt. Imagine moving houses every week! That would suck! Anyways, the storyline is not much different from the first 2 books. There’s an evil Epic and the team wants to take him down. They make a plan, meet new Epics on the way, gain new knowledge of Epics and how their powers work. And David is still annoying. It’s not bad at all. Just not as awesome as everything else by Sanderson.
Let’s talk about food now: I had a Salted Caramel Christmas Pudding for lunch 😀 And made a mess of it! Ehem.. There you go –>
Not very pretty, but very yummy 🙂 (I bought it! No cooking & baking for me this weekend, too lazy!)
I will do the laundry now and after that maybe start re-watching the first season of The Walking Dead. When it was still awesome. I wanted to do it for a while now. Or I will read on a bit. I’ll see!
